CAROL CANO is an Eastern Practitioner and has had years of experience working at the Institute of Health and Healing at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, California.
She has extensive hours of medical charting experience having worked with a multidisciplinary team where she offered clinical and physio-rehabilitation massage.
She has expertise in acute or chronic conditions, muscular skeletal injuries, cancer, HIV/AIDS, depression, addiction, and mental health issues.
She assesses and evaluates medical needs related to physical conditions and functional status and provides a treatment plan for her patients.
She has presented many cases to clinical staff and has worked closely with physicians who referred their patient’s care to her.
Carol specializes in integrative care with co-occurring disorders as a mental health and substance abuse counselor in treatment rehabilitation settings. She has worked in adult psychiatric crisis centers, transitional and long-term residential treatment programs in the Bay Area such as Progress Foundation, Native American Health Center, and Center for Recovery Haight Ashbury Free Clinic. She has facilitated substance abuse focus groups and helped patients access services and adhere to medication regimes.
She is a substance abuse consultant for Inner Substance and is the co-creator of Inner Substance Intervention. She has lectured on Substance Abuse issues from a cross-cultural perspective and has trained others on a psycho-spiritual approach to pain management.
LYDIA CABASCO is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and an organizational development consultant.
As a coach, she creates a safe space for working with her clients and compassionately facilitates their process of gaining clarity and insight, finding their own answers, and deciding on what action to take to reach their desired goals. She loves assisting her clients with breakthroughs and holds them accountable to upholding their integrity with every outcome they achieve.
Lydia co-creates a safe coaching relationship with her clients, so they can bring all of themselves to each session, without feeling like they need to leave parts of themselves at the door.
Lydia received her BA in Multicultural Counseling from The Evergreen State College and her CPC from The Academy for Coach Training, an International Coach Federation accredited program. She also facilitates SoulCollage® and expressive arts workshops. She trained with Seena Frost, the founder of SoulCollage® and was the first facilitator to conduct workshops in the Philippines.
When not coaching, consulting, or facilitating workshops, she loves to take dance classes. As a design junkie, she loves to read contemporary architecture blogs, hatching dreams of her soon to come dream home. Originally from Seattle, Lydia now lives in the Philippines and part-time in Seattle.
KAT HOLIGORES
Katrina A. Holigores is a certified Access BARS Practitioner and is currently undergoing her Access BARS Facilitator training abroad. She is also an experienced practitioner of Pranic Energy Healing as well as the Ki Method of healing otherwise known as TKM. She has also undergone workshops for yoga, healing crystals and reiki. Katrina has also dedicated her newspaper column in The Philippine Star, entitled The Soul Train, to finding out about products, people and other practices that may help a person live a healthier, more fulfilling existence. She expands her column into her blog entitled www.thesoultrain.net which she dedicates to “all the souls in training”.
LARRY ZHANG
Lawrence Zhang is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner from Beijing, China and licensed by the government’s Certified Qualification Center. He studied with Master Sun Jiwei, whose family has been working as TCM physician in the service of the imperial family since the Qing dynasty. Trained by this 14th generation practitioner and coming from a family of Western Medicine physicians, Larry is exposed to both eastern and western approaches to medicine.
He has been practicing in the Philippines since 2002, and has worked for various clinics in Ortigas, Mandaluyong and Libis. He also has been doing home services and community service in various areas of Metro Manila.
Larry does acupuncture, ventosa (fire cupping and wet cupping), Tai Chi and Qi Gong.
